Gabe + EllaBIGGIE: Gabriel Carrascoso
small: Ella Faith Albano Fam: Destiny's Children Name: Gabriel Carrascoso Major (+minor): Business Administration Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: i feel like whenever i try to make ella laugh she just ends up thinking im weird. and this is like 99% of our interactions but i hope she thinks im at least funny on occasion lol in that sense, i don't think i really fulfill a typical "mentor" role for ella, but making her smile is one of the greatest feelings in the world What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: 5 things i learned from ella faith... 1) all about north dakota and the lore surrounding ella's friend group back in fargo. 2) obscure movie & tv show trivia (ella is a walking imdb page) 3) what the game "league of legends" is and how to play it 4) all the lore surrounding ella's friend group from nuin london 5) the joys of being a big What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: our weekly poke station & watching beyblade every friday is a sacred routine 🙂↕️ oh and we also just came back from a trip to the philippines for spring break el oh el it was pretty cool to be there for ella's first time in the motherland 🙂↕️ Name: Ella Faith Albano Major (+minor): Business Admin and Comms Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: I think our biggie/smalls relationship is very silly. After Gabe picked me up, we learned that we had a lot more in common than what was on our applications. So, we get to spend time bonding over those topics, mostly through nostalgic kid shows lol. He is there for me when I need advice or to vent about classes, but I really appreciate our friendship. We just like to laugh in general or at each other. Another thing is this semester we're choreographing together, so I don't have to wait 2-3 business days for a response XD What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: Gabe is very dedicated in everything that he is committed to. He puts in the time and the effort to ensure that his outcome is the best that it can be and I really admire that. Either in inc or his ebo position, I am inspired to work just as hard. What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: There are so many, especially since I bummed around him and jlab's apartment for like all of last year. I do think I have to say the spring break trip we just got back from to the Philippines. It was my first time going and I was really glad to be going with Gabe, we got some sun, laid on the beach, and ate some great food. The flights were long, but it was worth it to experience that with him. And he enabled me into buying 3 smiskis hehe

Michaela + AbigailBIGGIE: Michaela Ang
small: Abigail Siy Fam: Official Bread Name: Michaela Ang Major (+minor): MechE Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: we eat and yap. like a lot. What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: She keeps me in the loop/accountable for Barkada stuff. If you see me at events/actually in dance, it's because she reminded me about it. The last 2 years of my BKD involvement has been because of her (thank you abby!!). What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: Our line went apple picking this past fall. It was fun to spend time with her and my G smalls (hi denise) and see her also as a big. Abby has been like a unique piece of home in that we are almost always speaking in bisaya, but seeing her FINALLY branch out into tagalog with denise, especially then was fun!! Name: Abigail Siy Major (+minor): Behavioral Neuroscience/ Data Science Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: She’s like an older sister, a best friend, and a mentor all in one. I don’t think I would have adjusted to life in the U.S. as well as I did if it weren’t for her. What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: She’s one of the busiest people I know, but she always seems composed and manages to get things done. As someone who gets stressed out easily, this is something that I’m still learning from her. What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: We were in the bakery at HMart and we were both pushing each other out of the way trying to pay for the bill (she won😔).
Siraj + macyBIGGIE: Siraj Akmal
small: Macy Jiang Fam: Sexy Name: Siraj Akmal Major (+minor): DS + Finance Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: My relationship with Macy is truly two-sided, and that’s what makes it so special. On one side, we share deep and meaningful conversations about our personal lives and values, which has helped us grow closer and developing a deeper level of understanding each other. On the other side, we embrace the carefree side of college life by going on silly side quests and enjoying typical college nighttime activities. It’s a perfect balance. What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: I have learned to be more conscious of how actions and words can be perceived, along with pintrest vision boarding, the best coffee spot in boston, and random facts about people i don't actually know. What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: My favorite memory with Macy has to be meeting up with the CSA fam in NYC. It was such a fun time. She even met my mom and visited my house, which was a bit of a whiplash moment for me. It’s always surreal when my college friends meet with my home life. It also meant alot since she made the 3 hour trip to and from NYC. Name: Macy Jiang Major (+minor): Architecture Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: distant father with his gay son What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: work hard play hard What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: pi’s basement. i also love seeing siraj out in the wild, esp when we just appear at the same events. very comforting face to see
Sofie + simonBIGGIE: Sofie Cook
small: Simon Coleman Fam: Royalty Name: Sofie Cook Major (+minor): Data Science Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: Simon is the best small I could have ask for! We love to go find good eats and gab. It is nice to have a smaller community within Barkada, that being Royalty and Simon is a huge part of that for me. Whether he needs advice or just someone to vent to lol I'm always around and am grateful to be that person for him! What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: Simon is someone who cares deeply for his friends around him and he will quite literally do anything to keep them around (commuted to New York every week to be in Boston with his friends). In an environment like Northeastern that can be very fast paced, career driven, and one that can force you to only think about yourself, I think it is very admirable that he doesn't think that way. It has taught me to also take a step back from moving through life too fast and enjoy the people I have around me to the fullest extent before I graduate. What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: My favorite memory with my smalls is probably doing a trivia night at his house. It was super fun and we won hehe. Name: Simon Coleman Major (+minor): Computer Science and Economics Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: Intermittent yapping sessions What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: She has taught me almost every dance I’ve been in What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: Aalia’s workout class!
Myca + ClaireBIGGIE: Myca Pingol
small: Claire Tuquero Fam: Rogue Name: Myca Pingol Major (+minor): Global Business & Marketing Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: I first met Claire at the famdin at Shake Shack my sophomore year and I immediately knew I wanted her to be my little. She reflects the vibrant energy and excitement I felt as a freshman, carrying so much love and appreciation for life. Even though she’s my small, I view her as a role model for love she carries for herself and the world around her. She’s become my family away from home. With my other little, Livvy, the three of us have bonded so well that we feel like three peas in a pod. Claire has been a tremendous support during college—a tumultuous time. Shes been a pillar of support and love as we navigate adulthood together. Whenever I needed a friend, she was always just a FaceTime call or a quick ride on the Green Line away, ready to listen and talk through anything. Looking back on my senior year, I feel so grateful for Claire. She’s been a gift from my college journey, and I couldn’t imagine this time without her. I’m really excited to see how our relationship flourishes beyond college. What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: Claire embodies a deep appreciation and love for the world, radiating warmth wherever she goes. When I was younger, I promised myself to keep an open heart. Through every hardship, she perseveres life with sincerity and resilience. During our first hangout at Faneuil, I admired the gratitude she carries for herself, her life, and the people around her. She reflected on how grateful she feels to be living in Boston; despite the challenges of school, she sees her time on the East Coast as a true blessing. Claire thrives by actively working on her personal growth—whether through academics, finances, or her relationships. Claire teaches me how to keep my promise to my younger self. What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: I cherish all our adventures together. We usually start it off as a “study session” that quickly turns into a yap session, with no work getting done. My favorite times, though, are our sleepovers—staying in, baking cookies, lounging in our cozy pajamas, and ending the night with heart-to-heart conversations. I’m so excited for all the memories and adventures still ahead of us. Name: Claire Tuquero Major (+minor): Nursing Describe your relationship with your BIGGIE/smalls: Spending time with Myca is always the highlight of my week. I love coming over to her place, going to Newbury, and just hanging out and gossiping. During stressful weeks we would do self-care nights, where we’d have a cozy hangout, do face masks, grab food, catch up and relax. Ever since I’ve been her small, my life has been 100x better. I can literally tell her anything and she really is like a big sister to me. What's something that you've learned from your BIGGIE/smalls?: I learned that making the effort to spend time with those who matter in your life is so important, no matter how busy your schedule is. We both go to different schools and we still try to make it work so that we can see each other. What's your favorite memory with your BIGGIE/smalls?: My favorite memory with Myca was my biggiesmalls reveal. The scavenger hunt and gifts she made for me was literally so amazing. The clues and questions were based on my answers to the biggiesmalls application and everything was even Sonny Angel themed. 1000/10
